Checking GOSI Contributions as a Private-Sector Employee
If you work in the private sector, your employer should be registering you with the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) and reporting your contribution periods. Reviewing that record yourself is a quiet habit worth building: it shows whether your periods are recorded, what wages sit on file and whether anything was excluded, without waiting for a problem to surface.
Quick answer
Short answer: GOSI’s own service guide says a contributor can view personal data recorded in the system plus the sequence of contribution periods, with registered wages, contributory wages, registration and exclusion dates and status, and any exclusion reasons. You do this through GOSI’s online services. This is not the same as Qiwa’s contract tools.
Key takeaways
- Who holds the record: GOSI, the General Organization for Social Insurance.
- What a contributor can view (per GOSI’s service guide): personal data on file, then each contribution period with registered wages, contributory wages, dates and status of registration and exclusion, and exclusion reasons.
- Related online service: a certificate containing your wages and contribution periods under GOSI law can be exported through GOSI Online, per the same guide.
- Channels GOSI lists: GOSI Online, the Tamina’ty (تأميناتي) app and electronic payment.
- Contact options: see the contact details in GOSI’s service guide and on GOSI’s official website; check the contact details on the official website.
GOSI vs Qiwa: keep them separate
Residents often mix the two portals. Qiwa is where many employees review labour-contract and Ministry of Human Resources workflows. GOSI holds social-insurance contribution history. We already published a dedicated Qiwa for employees guide; use that for contract and Qiwa-account questions, and use this page for contribution records only.
| Question | Usually GOSI | Usually Qiwa |
|---|---|---|
| Which contribution periods are recorded for me, and with what wages? | Yes, contribution periods view | Not the primary place |
| What does my employment contract say? | No | Yes, see our Qiwa guide |
| Why was a period excluded? | Yes, exclusion reasons are shown per period | No |
| Certificate of wages and contribution periods | Yes, via GOSI Online | No |
Tip
Review your record after your first full salary cycle with a new employer, and again when you resign or transfer. Gaps are easier to raise with HR early, while everyone still remembers the dates.
How to review your contribution periods
GOSI’s service guide describes the screen like this: the contributor views personal data recorded in the system and the sequence of contribution periods with full details. GOSI also says contributors can register in GOSI Online to use services such as viewing contribution periods.
Review your GOSI contribution record
1
Open GOSI’s online services from gosi.gov.sa, or use the Tamina’ty app that GOSI lists among its channels.
2
Register or sign in with the method GOSI offers for your account. Contributors and beneficiaries can register in GOSI Online, per its guide.
3
Find the contribution periods screen for contributors. GOSI describes it as showing your personal data and your sequence of contribution periods.
4
Open each period and note the registered wages, contributory wages, dates and status.
5
Save a screenshot if HR later asks what you saw on a given day.
Menu names change
GOSI’s newer website loads its service pages with JavaScript, and we could not read the current menu labels when we last checked. The steps above follow GOSI’s service guide pages instead, so exact button names on your screen may differ.
What to look for on the screen
You do not need to memorise contribution rates for a first check. Focus on the practical fields GOSI’s guide names:
First review checklist
- Registered and contributory wages look like what you expect (raise gaps with HR politely, with screenshots)
- Dates of registration line up with when you actually joined
- Status looks right for your current job
- Exclusion dates and reasons appear only on periods that have closed, and make sense for a job you left
- No missing period between two jobs where you were employed
Which branches apply to you
GOSI’s registration guide says the Annuities Branch covers only Saudis, while the Occupational Hazards Branch is mandatory for all workers regardless of sex, nationality or age. So what you see may depend on your nationality and the branch.
Warning
This guide does not calculate benefits, end-of-service pay or contribution rates. Those depend on your scheme and current GOSI rules. For personal figures, use official GOSI tools or a qualified adviser, and confirm details at gosi.gov.sa.
If the record looks wrong
Speak to your employer’s HR or payroll team first, with the period dates you reviewed and your screenshots. If that does not resolve it, GOSI’s guide says complaints about its services, including delays, can be submitted through GOSI Online, and that you receive a follow-up number to track the complaint. Contact options are listed on GOSI’s pages (see the key facts above).
Pair contribution checks with other work admin: our CV for Saudi employers guide helps when you are changing jobs, and the Qiwa employee guide covers the contract side that often moves in the same month as a GOSI transfer.

Last checked: 17 October 2026 (Asia/Riyadh), re-reading GOSI’s own service-guide pages (contribution periods, wage certificate, complaints and branch notes still match). We could not open the National Platform service page for this topic that day, so nothing here relies on it. Infosaudia is an independent guide, not GOSI or the Ministry of Human Resources.
